The Academy consists of four Martial Arts Systems, Silat, Kali, WMA and Bataireacht. It is available in the centre every Tuesday at 8pm to 10pm. Jon O’Neill will teach a Kali System. Kali is a highly effective warrior art from the Philippines. The SCA is dedicated to recreating the Medieval Era “as it should have been”. We research all aspects of historical life, and recreate it in our events and practice meets. If you’ve wanted to meet knights in shining armour, this is the place for you. If you want to BE a knight in shining armour, then it’s even more so! We run practices for Heavy Armoured combat, Fencing, Archery and Medieval Arts and Sciences. Archery is every Wednesday evening 7-9pm in the Bosco. We love meeting new people, please come along!
