Drimnagh Diamond Twirlers

Would you like to learn how to baton twirl, dance, have fun and meet new friends, if so come and meet us.

Computer Classes

Computer classes for all ages and abilities are available during term time. There are courses for beginners and those seeking certification in digital literacy These classes are supported by the Digital Community & DIT’s CLIC project. Please contact Angela on 4560100 for further details.

Open Access Sessions

Free computer sessions—every Tues 7pm – 9pm and Thursday 4pm – 6pm.  Just drop in to use our computers, surf the internet, send emails, type letters etc. Our member of staff Anthony will assist you during these sessions.

Adult Drama

“In The Pink” Ladies Drama group meets in the Bosco every Thursday at 8pm and are always looking for new members to join this fun group who have put on small performances in various local centres. For further details, please contact Theresa Balfe on 4558120.

Combat Escrima Martial Arts

The Academy consists of four Martial Arts Systems, Silat, Kali, WMA and Bataireacht. It is available in the centre every Tuesday at 8pm to 10pm. Jon O’Neill will teach a Kali System. Kali is a highly effective warrior art from the Philippines. Dublin Kendo

Kendo is a physically and mentally challenging activity that combines Martial Arts etiquette such as respect for your teachers and opponent with regular physical practice. Failte Isteach conversational English language classes have been running in Dublin 12 since October 2011 and are on every Tuesday 7pm – 9pm and Wednesday from 11am – 1pm. All classes are free and all levels are welcome.

SCA – Dun na Mara

The SCA is dedicated to recreating the Medieval Era “as it should have been”. We research all aspects of historical life, and recreate it in our events and practice meets. If you’ve wanted to meet knights in shining armour, this is the place for you. If you want to BE a knight in shining armour, then it’s even more so! We run practices for Heavy Armoured combat, Fencing, Archery and Medieval Arts and Sciences. Archery is every Wednesday evening 7-9pm in the Bosco.  We love meeting new people, please come along!
